Doctor Strange originally belongs to Marvel comics, and this movie is adapted wonderfully for the screen. Every scene and dialogue are written according to the situation.
If you’ve read this comic, you’re going to enjoy the movie, if not then at least give the film a chance to wow you.
Director – Scott Derrickson.
This might be the first time when Scott has worked on the superhero genre, but his work will amaze you. He does not give the impression of a newbie. Derrickson treated the script quite nicely.
Cinematography – Ben Davis.
Stunning! Just one word for the cinematography. It is managed so beautifully in the film, that you can’t point out the difference between the real scenes and visually created scenes. Ben Davis surely deserves an applause for his work in the movie.
The cast of the film.
Benedict Cumberbatch: Titular name belongs to this man, and trust me he earned the role and his performance shows it. Benedict is playing the lead character of Dr. Stephen Strange.
Chiwetel Ejiofor: If you’d love any performance after Benedict’s, then he is the one to watch.
Mads Mikkelsen: The major negative character in the movie and the reason behind all the conflict is a character called Kaecilius which is being played by Mads with all his charm.
Tilda Swinton: Later as the movie progresses, you’ll see her coming out as one of the major characters in the film.
This movie is so far one of the best films of this year in terms of visual effects. It’s easy to watch this film, but if you try to understand all the hard work that goes into giving a movie such a brilliant look, you’ll be amazed. Visual effects team simply nailed it!

Every cut in the film brings new information on to the screen. It manages to keep that curiosity alive until the very end. Editing is sober in this movie, but it is done purposefully.
